Been thinking about the concept of when I am able to see and what I need to see. I have heard of this when it comes to the perceptive range of an animal in the forest and I have read of it during a book regarding reality and the limitations we have to perceive said reality. There is a third reference in my mind of a writing from the 1800's that discussed the spread of information and the inability to mull that info over. Standard thought is that interconnected information has lead to so much cluttering the pathways that people are overburdened, think Gojo in Jujitsu Keizen anime technique that exposes a person's mind to infinity. The mind collapses and is unable to do anything. Feels the same in this new information world that we can see it all and do nothing in response.
